Social Media Manager (Melbourne)

The Social Manager works closely with the strategy, account service, media and production departments to help with awesome content creation, scheduling, publishing and moderation. With ongoing input into weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, you’ll bring the voice of the customer into reports through insights that shape the social media function.

 

THE ROLE

  • Proactive and reactive engagement with audiences through community management across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat

  • Documenting real-time learnings and customer feedback to inform monthly reports

  • Collaborating with our Digital Media Manager to promote relevant content or amplify top performing content with paid investment

  • Participating in the creation and delivery of content calendars in collaboration with producers and content creators, and on occasion co-presenting the strategy and calendar to internal stakeholders and clients

 

THE FIT

  • A super star who is passionate about all things social and digital and has 2 years previous in a similar role

  • Experience with the management of content calendars, content creation and distribution (publishing) and most importantly, page and community moderation

  • A talented professional who has strong relationship building skills and works collaboratively with others.

 

THE SKILLS

  • Capable of working across multiple clients simultaneously

  • Strong capabilities in compiling insight-driven reporting through dashboards

  • Exposure to running social influencer campaigns with partners such as Hypetap or Tribe and using social listening tools

  • Understanding of the FMCG, eCommerce and Retail space
