At CumminsRoss we’re always trying to find new ways to work. And new people to work with!

As a true one-stop shop, CumminsRoss creates and produces many TV and content campaigns in-house so that we can maximise our clients’ production dollars and make sure ideas get from the page to the screen without a loss in translation. And that means we have to put together our own film crews and specialists that are right for each job. We also use this as an opportunity to work with fresh, new talent to give our clients’ work the best looking cinematography we could.

Last year, we worked with both Sam King and Matthew Chuang, two young cinematographers with very promising futures in the industry. But we weren’t the only ones who thought these guys are great.

In 2012, The Australian Cinematographers’ Society held its annual awards for feature films, television and advertising, honouring the best in the craft of Australian cinematography.

Sam King won a SILVER ACS AWARD for his work on our Open Up with Andre Agassi films, Series One for Jacob’s Creek.

He also won a GOLD ACS AWARD for his work on our Deakin University campaign featuring the commercial “The Gallery”

He won a further SILVER ACS AWARD for his work on our Deakin University campaign featuring the commercial “The Clarinetist.”

Matt Chuang won a SILVER ACS AWARD for his work on our Swann Insurance “Freedom” campaign.

He also won a GOLD ACS AWARD for his work on our campaign for TIO.

And Wayne Aistrope won a GOLD ACS AWARD for our Tommy Hafey commercial for Jeep.
