Quick response and quick action for good 

Disaster and emergency can strike at any time. When it does, Australian Red Cross Humanitarian is there. But donations can’t be collected as fast as they should be.
Introducing The Quick Response Code. Tapping into our familiarity with QR codes, we repurposed them for a cause. We first activated during the Afghanistan Appeal, bringing “quick response” to life as a donation mechanism on street advertising and in shopping centres. Quickly showcasing this idea to outdoor vendors, we were able to receive a no-cost media plan, resulting in an increased donation target of over 40%. This campaign needed to move quickly, so we did: live in days, not weeks, to provide faster on-the-ground financial support.
